Wasp & Figs, 1945

“I don't think of all the misery, but of the beauty that still remains.“— Anne Frank

The wasp and the figs. Figs give the wasp shelter. The wasp gives the figs attention.

I shall give you life my baby. Endless fruit and shelter for your loved ones. I can only do so much, I‘m sorry I’ll kill for more time ...

I am the wasp. We shall make generations to come. Please don’t destroy my loved ones.

Give them time to grow.

I am the fig .

I am the wasp.

Don‘t turn against me.

I suffered enough .

* To the survivors, the families, and the lost souls of the Holocaust . May their beauty forever be in stored in oak trees and oranges. — Drew Skyland
